Summer camp was conducted at Vellode Birds Sanctuary for 110 students from 10 different schools across Erode. Importance of wetlands, waterways -inlets and outlets of Vellode Bird Sanctuary, birds identification, biodiversity of Vellode including birds, plants and insects, introduction to climate change and how it affects wetlands were discussed.
