An awareness program on wetland conservation by experts and forest officers

An awareness program was conducted to college students by the Experts and Forest Officers

A clean-up drive was organized at Tirupathur Lake with the support of the District Administration and active participation of students. The programme focused on removing plastic waste and other litter from the lake surroundings to promote a cleaner and healthier environment. Students were sensitized about the importance of waterbody conservation, waste management, and environmental responsibility. The initiative encouraged community participation and strengthened awareness on protecting natural resources for future generations.
