On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, Muthupet Range organized a field visit for school students. Students participated in planting mangrove species, Avicennia marina, gaining practical experience and awareness about mangrove conservation. The activity motivated students to protect wetlands and understand the ecological importance of mangrove ecosystems.

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, Udayamarthandapuram Bird Sanctuary was visited by school students through a field visit organized by Muthupet Range. Students enjoyed observing different wetland birds through binoculars. The Forest Range Officer delivered an awareness speech on wetland birds, conservation, and the importance of protecting wetland ecosystems.

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, Muthupet Range conducted an awareness campaign involving school students to create awareness among both students and the public about the importance of wetlands. Students actively participated with enthusiasm, spreading messages on wetland conservation, biodiversity protection, and the need to safeguard natural ecosystems for future generations.

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, the Forest Range Officer of Muthupet Range and mangrove expert Kathiresan delivered an awareness speech to school students about the importance of wetlands through a PPT presentation. The session was highly interactive, informative, and helped students understand wetland conservation and biodiversity protection.

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, the Mutupet Range, Thiruvarur Forest Department conducted drawing, essay writing, and quiz competitions for school students in Muthupet. The events created awareness about wetland conservation and biodiversity. Students actively participated with great enthusiasm and learned the importance of protecting wetlands for future generations.

Mannargudi scout District level scout and Guides participated in the awreness program. Rajappa Dist. Coordinator explained the importance of vaduvur birds sanctuary and list of birds which are visited that place and getting the ramsar recognition, etc . Around 450 scouts and guides participated. Around 75 kgs of waste were also collected 10 saplings planted with the help of Forest officials Mr. vijayan and Mr. Elangovan

40 volunteers and forest officers from point calimere wildlife sanctuary done a clean up activity at point calimere wildlife sanctuary and collected around 40kg of plastic and other waste.

50 volunteers and forest officers from Udayamarthandapuram made clean up activity at Udayamarthandapuram Birds Sanctuaries and collected 50kg of plastic waste.

42 school students and Volunteers joined for a cleanup at Vaduvur bird sanctuary in an effort to conserve this unique wetland ecosystem. The school students removed 120 kg of plastics and other degradable wastes from Vaduvur bird sanctuary in an effort to conserve and protect it.
