On 4th July 2026, Wetland Walk was organized by the Consumer Activist Group, Chennai, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu State Wetlands Authority and the Chennai Forest Division at the Pallikaranai Marshland as part of Climate Action Month initiative of the Consumer Activist Group, Chennai. The Wetland Walk aimed to create awareness about wetland biodiversity, the ecological importance of wetlands, and the various threats they face. A total of 25 students from Prince Shri Venkateshwara Arts and Science College, Chennai, along with members of the public, participated in the event.
