On 03 February 2026, our team visited Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology to conduct an impactful Wetland Awareness Program aimed at inspiring young minds toward environmental conservation

The session highlighted the ecological importance of wetlands, their role in biodiversity preservation, flood control, and sustainable water management. Students actively participated in interactive discussions and gained valuable insights into protecting these vital ecosystems.

A remarkable outcome of the program was the enthusiastic response from the student community—over 1,000 students enrolled as “Wetland Mitras”, pledging their commitment to safeguarding wetlands and promoting environmental responsibility.

This initiative marks a significant step in building a strong network of youth ambassadors dedicated to wetland conservation and sustainable environmental practices.
